Welcome to Evolve and Empower Counseling serving clients in BOTH Oregon and Idaho
I believe each individual has the capacity to evolve to your full potential and can be empowered to guide your own personal journey. I approach the counseling relationship as a mirror to reflect what may be causing you distress and help guide you to a place of balance that feels right to you. That looks different for everyone. I take a warm, engaging, and compassionate approach with a focus on being accessible and equitable to everyone. I honor diversity and acceptance, welcoming people of all ethnic, cultural, religious, and spiritual backgrounds.
I believe we can all heal and grow regardless of how deep the wounds, and that no one is broken beyond repair. However, sometimes we find ourselves moving through life in a way that is hindering our potential or no longer serving us well, which can often be the catalyst for seeking counseling.
My goal is to attend to you or the relationship with consideration, curiosity, kindness, and empathy. This journey looks different for each person, couple, and family as we are all unique in our experiences and development. I will meet you where you are as we begin a journey toward your own personal evolution, whatever that may be.
I draw from several theoretical modalities based upon my clients’ needs, primarily working from a humanistic and person-centered stance. My clinical approach continually draws from a Trauma Informed lens utilizing Somatic practices, Emotion Focused, Attachment Models, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Interpersonal Neurobiology practices. In our sessions, we will explore your past and present experiences to inform the process of self-discovery and growth.
